Ross’ passion lies at the intersection of business, technology, and people; he believes that the successful management of the three is the sweet spot to making your business tick. His experience and roles have ranged from beginnings in a call-centre through to managing global teams in both software support and software content development.

Ross has a passion for sharing his knowledge and does so as a facilitator for students in the ‘ICT Management’, ‘Systems Management’ and ‘Management of Technology’ fields at the Da Vinci Institute. He also speaks on these subjects at various industry events and conferences. Due to his experience in the technology industry, he has had the privilege of serving as an adjudicator for the Technology Top 100 (tt100) awards.

In his talks, Ross dissects technical terminologies and concepts into bite-sized, easy to understand pieces of information. He excels in translating things from the realm of technical engineers, to that of everyday consumption and usage.

Complimentary to this is the training he provides as co-owner of Attraqtiv – a niche training company for technical recruiters – where concepts such as software development and technical support are explained. This allows technical recruiters to easily hold conversations with their technical clients, as well as call out unreasonable expectations!
